My name is Cody Purtle. I'm from a small town in Louisiana and I have been currently residing in Houston Tx since 2016. In late 2017 I got into real estate wholesaling right after hurricane Harvey. Since I started I went through various trial and error with little to no guidance. It wasn't until 2019 where I met one of my mentors who helped me carve out this path. Since 2019 I have been investing in real estate full time. I run a successful wholesaling operation and team where we our wholesaling properties nationwide! In 2020 we had our first 7 figure year and we our projecting to finish out 2021 anywhere from 1.5MM - 2MM!

Wholesaling Real estate is when you have a purchase agreement with a property owner to purchase their property and in that contract you have the option to assign your equitable rights to someone else.

For example let's say we have a contract for 100k to buy someone's property and we know that after running our evaluations that investors would pay 115k for this property, We can than market this contract to our investors for 115k, Next after we agreed on price we can assign the contract to the investor for 115k, After this we go to closing, Seller gets paid their 100k, we get paid 15k and the investor walks away with their new property.
